CELEBRATING PUMA'S 75TH ANNIVERSARY

In 1948, Rudolf Dassler founded "Puma Schuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler" in his hometown of Herzogenaurach, Germany. 75 years later, PUMA is still proudly based in Dassler's hometown and carries on his legacy of pushing sport and culture forward.

16, 2023 - Sports company PUMA turned 75 and will
celebrate its milestones in sports, culture and innovation
with a series of events throughout the year which will
elaborate on its mantra 'Forever Faster'.

In 1968, PUMA created the King boot, known for it's high-quality materials and revolutionary, lightweight
design. Favored by football legend Pelé, the King boots were on his feet when he was crowned "Player of
the Tournament" at the World Cup in Mexico in 1970.
